If you are a parent of a SU student, the information you will find here will be helpful as you assist your son or daughter in deciding if CSTEP is right for him/her. We understand how important that decision is as CSTEP encourages scholars to participate in life-altering experiences.
Our mission is to challenge and support the holistic development of competent, well-rounded scholars for post-baccalaureate education, global citizenship, and lifelong achievement. Our vision is to be a leading Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program in the State of New York and the principal source of student enrichment in science, technology, engineering, and pre-licensure fields. Our vision is made possible through activities such as:
- participation in research projects
- internship experiences
- attending conferences
- extra-curricular activities (student organizations)
- mentoring opportunities
- community service projects
- academic facilitation and study groups and more.
