Welcome to Syracuse University's Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP), an integral part of the Office of Graduate Preparation Programs within the Division of Student Support and Retention. Our mission is to develop, support, and retain competent, well-rounded scholars for post-baccalaureate education and professional achievement. Our vision is to be the leading CSTEP program in New York State and the principal source of student enrichment in science, technology, engineering, and pre-licensure.
CSTEP is jointly sponsored by Syracuse University and the New York State Education Department. It is an academic enrichment program designed to foster a student's academic success in preparing for professional licensure or careers in the scientific, technical, or health-related fields. CSTEP aims to reinvent scholarship for participating students as they pursue their academic goals; undergraduate and graduate students may join CSTEP at any time during their college career.
We hope and trust that the information on our website will help you understand and appreciate that vision and the significant progress we are making toward achieving it.

CSTEP Application
CSTEP requirements:
Applicants must have a cumulative 2.75 GPA.
Students within the CSTEP program must maintain a 2.3 GPA.
