For a total of eleven weeks I worked as an AOL Time Warner intern as part of Time Inc.'s Information Technology (IT) Department, working in Desktop Services. The structure of my internship involved three rotational periods: with IT service technicians working within AOL Global Marketing Solutions, with the central production department and with different groups within Time Inc.'s IT department. I gained experience and knowledge of server administration, desktop engineering, project management, desktop support, and network engineering. In addition to the aforementioned technical IT skill sets, interpersonal goals were also achieved, including gaining a working knowledge of the Time Inc IT infrastructure and systems, practicing skills in multitasking, and dealing with the personal customer aspect of Time Inc IT services.
